P&P Cleaning and Notary Services LLC
Service Agreement & Terms and Conditions
Version P&P-TC-2026.09.17 · Effective September 17, 2026
1. Agreement and booking requests
By checking the agreement box and submitting a booking request, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. A submitted request is not a confirmed appointment. P&P will confirm availability, scope, price, and any required deposit before service.
2. Services and scope
P&P provides residential cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, Airbnb cleaning, commercial cleaning, and mobile notary services. Only the work listed in the confirmed quote, invoice, or written service description is included. Additional work, extra rooms, excessive buildup, hazardous conditions, or other changes may require revised pricing and customer approval.
3. Estimates, pricing, and payment
Displayed prices are starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise. Final cleaning pricing depends on the property, condition, size, scope, schedule, and access requirements. Commercial work may require a walkthrough. Traditional South Carolina notarial acts are charged at the disclosed notarial fee, and any separate travel, waiting, printing, parking, after-hours, witness, or other service fee will be disclosed and agreed to before service. Payment is due according to the confirmed quote or invoice.
4. Deposits
Cleaning appointments require a 25% deposit after the customer approves the final quote unless P&P states otherwise in writing. Deposits are applied to the service balance. P&P will not request a deposit until the service scope and price have been confirmed.
5. Cancellations and schedule changes
The customer should provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. A $25 late-change fee may apply to changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice. P&P may waive the fee for emergencies or circumstances beyond the customer’s reasonable control.
6. Access and lockouts
The customer must provide safe, timely access to the service location and any necessary entry instructions. If P&P arrives at the confirmed time but cannot enter or begin work because access was not provided, a lockout fee equal to 50% of the confirmed service price may apply.
7. Customer responsibilities and safety
The customer must identify fragile, valuable, damaged, unsafe, or restricted items and disclose known hazards before service. Pets must be safely secured when necessary. P&P may refuse or stop work involving unsafe conditions, illegal activity, biohazards, weapons, uncontrolled animals, or conditions outside the agreed scope.
8. Cleaning results and service concerns
Customers should report a cleaning concern within 24 hours after service and provide reasonable details. When appropriate, P&P may return to address an eligible missed area. This service remedy does not cover new dirt, normal wear, permanent stains or damage, pre-existing conditions, or work outside the agreed scope.
9. Damage and pre-existing conditions
P&P will use reasonable care while performing services. The customer must disclose delicate surfaces and manufacturer-specific care requirements. Claims for alleged damage should be reported promptly with supporting information. P&P is not responsible for ordinary wear, hidden defects, unstable fixtures, improperly installed items, or pre-existing damage.
10. Mobile notary terms
The signer must present acceptable identification, appear willingly, and be able to communicate and demonstrate awareness of the transaction. P&P does not provide legal advice, choose notarial certificates, prepare legal documents, or guarantee that a document will be accepted. A notarization may be refused when legal requirements are not met.
11. Recurring services
Recurring dates remain subject to confirmation and may be adjusted by mutual agreement. Frequency discounts, when offered, apply only while the recurring schedule remains active and may be revised if the scope, condition, frequency, or access requirements change.
12. Communications and electronic records
The customer authorizes service-related communications by email, phone, or text using the contact information provided. Electronic acceptance, booking records, confirmations, and invoices may be retained as business records. Service-related consent does not include marketing messages or permission to photograph or publish the customer, property, documents, or belongings.
13. Privacy
P&P will use customer information to provide, schedule, manage, bill for, and communicate about requested services, and to maintain appropriate business records. Customer information will not be sold. Notary documents and identification should be handled only as needed for the requested notarial service and applicable recordkeeping duties.
14. Limitation and applicable law
To the extent permitted by law, any liability arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to the claim, except where a different result is required by law. These terms are governed by South Carolina law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
15. Entire agreement and changes
These terms, together with the confirmed quote, invoice, and written service details, form the agreement for the requested service. If terms conflict, the more specific written quote or invoice controls for that service. P&P may issue a new version for future bookings; the version accepted at submission is saved with the booking record.
